These ponies often blend with the colours of grasses and bracken, just like this day amongst the boulders of Hound Tor. It's a joy to see them in amongst the tors, rocks and rolling hills of Dartmoor, living in this wild landscape for thousands of years. Renowned for their rugged resilience, Dartmoor ponies have a re-wilding role at nature recovery sites. A pony to be admired!
