This print was inspired by watching our garden sparrows in the summer evening light. The pinky glow of the sun seemed to make their pale feathers glow and emphasised their brown markings too. I love the noisiness of sparrows and the drama, but also love the moments of calm and stillness that I’ve tried to capture here.
This is an original linocut print created using two hand carved linocut blocks. It has been handprinted on acid free Snowdon paper using oil-based inks.
This is an original print (one of only 12) and not a digitally reproduced print.
Each print is signed and numbered by me.
Linocut prints are handmade and subtle variations in colour and detail will occur, making each print unique. Photos are for guidance only.
Prints will be carefully wrapped and posted in a postal tube.
