This linocut print was inspired by listening to our local tawny owls, their calls echoing through the misty moonlight. It's always so special to hear them and I've been very lucky to see one or two roosting or pausing in our trees. I wanted this linocut to show both the stillness and energy of a tawny owl and the excitement of them being nearby.
This is an original linocut print created using three hand carved linocut blocks. It has been handprinted on acid free Snowdon paper using oil-based inks.
This is an original print (one of only 30) and not a digitally reproduced print.
Each print is signed and numbered by me.
Linocut prints are handmade and subtle variations in colour and detail will occur, making each print unique. Photos are for guidance only.
Prints will be carefully wrapped and posted in a postal tube.
